A Naga wooden architectural fragment from the inside wall of the morung. A morung was a building in the village where the boys were getting their training to become a warrior. Most of the morungs are demolished since the majority of Naga people were converted to Christianity. Late 19th / early 20th century. Nagaland, N.W.India. Former French collection. (H. 48cm W. 27cm)
